State-level contests from Feb 1, popular presentation

Feb 01, 2018: Akshatha Kudla, an exceptional mimicry artiste and a teacher at Gonzaga school, won 10 prizes in the recently held district-level contests under the aegis of Youth Services and Sports Department.

She won first place in gigi pada, Laavani, bhajan and folk dance; second place in folk singing, shobaane haadu and Tulu folk songs; and third place in kolaata, ranga geethe and Tulu paadhana at the district-level contests organised by district administration and youth services department.  Akshatha will be taking part in the State-level Yuvajana Mela, to be held at Sudhana school in Puttur, from Feb 1, Thursday - today.
