St Joseph’s Engineering College celebrates annual day

Mangalore, Mar 20: St Joseph’s Engineering College celebrated its annual day on March 19, Friday. Ms Mable Rebello, member of Rajya Sabha, was the chief guest of the programme. 

Director Rev Fr Valerian D’Souza made the welcome speech. Prof A Jayakara Hegde, the principal-in-charge, read the annual report of the college. The bishop of Mangalore Diocese, who is also the president of the governing board of the college, presided over the programme.

Mr D K Jain, the senior vice president of Lanco Infratech Ltd., was the guest of honor. 

The student achievers of the college were honored on the occasion. 

Prof Eric Patrao, the convener of the programme, proposed the vote of thanks. Fr Henry Mascarenhas, the assistant director of the college, was also present on the dais. 

The formal stage programme was followed by a colorful cultural programme.
