Mangalore, April 15: Shri M.V.C.S. Karanth, Deputy General Manager, Bangalore Region has been promoted as General Manager of Karnataka bank.

Shri Karanth joined the Bank in the year 1973. He served in Chennai, Ernakulam and Bangalore Branches till his promotion as Chief Manager in 1993. On his promotion as Assistant General Manager in 1996, he headed Chennai Region and later on promotion as Deputy General Manager in 2001, he worked at Advances Department and Human Resources and Industrial Relations Department at Head Office.  Currently, Shri Karanth is heading the Bangalore Region of the Bank.

M.Raghavendra Bhat

Shri M.Raghavendra Bhat, Assistant General Manager, IT & MIS Department has been promoted as Deputy General Manager. 

Shri Bhat joined the Bank in the year 1981. He worked in Bangalore and Mumbai Branches till his promotion as Chief Manager in 2002. He headed the New Delhi-Overseas Branch till June 2005. On his promotion as Assistant General Manager in 2005, he worked at Head Office-Credit Department (Retail Finance Division). Currently Shri Bhat is working in Information Technology & Management Information System Department at Head Office.
