Service charges on train tickets at M’luru DC office counter.

Mangaluru :  Southern Railway has confirmed it’s policy to collect service charges at non-rail head PRS counters [other than Railway premises]. Service charges are already being collected for tickets being issued at post offices and now it is decided to extend the same to PRS counters opened at Lok Sabha Member’s premises too, said P.A. Dhananjayan, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, SR, Palakkad Division.

The service charges are in addition to reservation charges. They would be Rs. 15 for second class sleeper and second sitting, Rs. 20 for 3AC and AC chair car, Rs. 30 for 2AC and First Class and Rs. 10 for all categories of cancellation of tickets.
