Sathish Era and Chandrahas Kotekar win first prize in photography contest

Mangalore, May 24, 2012 : Sathish Era, a senior photojournalist, and Chandrahas Kotekar, an ace photographer, won the first prize in the photography competition held recently by the Federation of Motor Sports of India Association and Mangalore Sports Club as part of the Gulf Dirt Track National Championship 2012.

Mr. Era won the first prize in the A category, and Mr. Kotekar won the first prize in the B category.

Mr. Era works for Udayavani, a Kannada daily and has been a photojournalist for the past 15 years. He joined Udayavani 6 years back.

The Sagar Photography Society has recognized him for his photo on village life this year.
