Sahyadri College to organize paper presentation competition

Mangalore, Mar 4: Principal of Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management Dr. D L Prabhakar said during a press conference that the college will collaborate with FLAMES, the Association of Mechanical Engineering Students, to organize “Read Me 10,” a state-level student technical paper presentation competition  at seminar hall of Sahyadri College on March 6, Saturday at 10 am.

The principal said that the purpose of the competition is to create a common platform for budding researchers, academicians, and industry experts to interact and share the latest information about their subject of interest. About 200 students from all over the state are expected to participate in the competition; and 50 papers will be presented in various subjects related to mechanical engineering, he said. 

Prof Raghunandan of the Department of Aerospace Engineering, IISc Bangalore, will be the chief guest and inaugurate the event. Prof V Ganeshan of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT, Chennai, will deliver the key-note address.
