Sahyadri College celebrates Annual Day

Mangalore, Apr 14: The Annual College Day of Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management was celebrated at Sahyadri Campus on April 13, Tuesday. 

Vice Chancellor of Visweswarayya Technological University in Belgaum Prof H P Kincha was the chief guest of the inauguration ceremony. He said that opportunities in technology and management have enabled experts to prove their abilities at the international level. He advised students to set goals that are compatible with globalization in order to secure a bright future. 

Prof Sandeep Sancheti, the director of the National Institute of Technology-Karnataka (NIT-K) was the guest of honor. He advised students to develop a professional attitude, which will help them get recognized in their professions. He said that involvement in skillful activities as well as a thorough knowledge of the subject serve as assets in a person’s career. 

Manjunatha Bhandary, the president of Bhandary Foundation, and Dr. P L Prabhakara, the principal and director of the institution, were also present. 

The students presented a colorful cultural programme at the end of the formal stage event.
