Rotarian Krishan Shetty bags Service above Self Award

Mangalore, May 29, 2012 : Rotarian K. Krishna Shetty, previous governor of RI Dist 3180, has bagged Service above Self, the most prestigious award conferred by Rotary International, in recognition and appreciation of his invaluable services to Rotary Club.

He is the first Rotarian from this district to bag such a prestigious international award. He received it from Rotarian H. L. Ravi, governor of RI Dist 3180, at a special awards ceremony called Arohana held on May 27, Sunday by Mysore Sports Club in Mysore.

Rotarian Suresh Chandrashekar, previous governor of RI District 3150; Rotarian Dr. B. Devdas Rai, governor of RI District 3180; Rotarian S. Gururaj, district governor nominee; Rotarian Dr. Bhaskar; and Rotarian Surya Prakash Bhat were the chief guests of the occasion.
