Ranga Chinnari to felicitate Konkani achievers

Mangalore Feb 20: Ranga Chinnari, a trust managed by the renowned actor and director Kasargod Chinna, plans to felicitate great Konkani achievers who have worked hard for the development of Konkani language and culture. 

The names of the achievers who are to be honored have not yet been revealed. Two Konkani plays will also be staged on the occasion. The plays are “Eklo Aaneklo” and “Karmaadheena,” the former translated from Malayalam and the latter from Kannada by Kasargod Chinna. 

The felicitation ceremony will be held at Town Hall on Feb 22, Monday at 6:15 p.m. Tickets can be obtained at Town Hall on the same day.
