Mangaluru, Mar 02, 2019: According to U.T. Khader, Minister for Urban Development and DK dist Minister,  government has extended the deadline for producing property card for property registration and transactions in Mangaluru and other cities till coming June. Earlier, the government had announced that producing property card will be mandatory for property registration and transaction.

Interacting with media Minister Khader said that blocks in the system and other issues were causing problem for people in many places in getting property cards. “Discussions with the Revenue Secretary and other officials has brought about the extending of deadline till June 2019,” he said.

The Minister said that in the next three months they will address problems and also increase the number of centres for issuing property cards.
