Police Arrests Sene Leader Puthila

Mangalore, March 2: Sri Rama Sene State Convenr Arun Kumar Puthila was arrested by the town police, for his involvement in the recent incident of desecration of Gandhi statue and destroying petty shops in Puttur. He was arrested in the city on March 1.

It was reported that some of the hooligans have garlanded the Gandhi statue, which was erected near KSRTC bus stand, with the footwear. The incident created tension among the people of local area.

   
Puthila was picked up in the city on Monday night. He has been handed over to Puttur town police for further interrogation.
