Panemangaluru hotel stabbing, owner arrested

Mangaluru, Jan 17, 2017: It is reported that a youth was stabbed by a restaurant owner over a trivial issue at Panemangaluru near here late at night. Bantwal Town Police have arrested the hotel owner and the injured youth is being treated at a private hospital in Mangaluru.

The police version goes that, Yasin, 29, hotel owner, attacked Naufal, 25, from Nehru Nagar, in an argument over a trivial issue. Naufal who sustained injuries was rushed to a nearby hospital for first aid and then was taken to a hospital in Mangaluru for advanced treatment.  Meanwhile, a group gathered after the incident and pelted stones at the hotel. Police rushed to the spot and brought situation under control.  A case has been registered at Bantwala Town police station.
