Mangalore, Mar 7: Vidwan Padekallu Narasimha Bhat has been selected as the president of the 16th Dakshina Kannada District Sahithya Sammelana. 

Mr. Bhat, who is 75 years of age, is from Padekallu, Karopady of Vittal in Bantwal. He is an MA in Sanskrit and is a  scholar in Kannada and Sanskrit grammar. 

Bhat, who is a teacher and a thinker had presided over the Bantwal Taluk Sahitya Sammelana earlier.
