Officials from Mangalore, Udupi in Lokayukta trap

Mangalore, March 18: Justice Santhosh Hegde, Lokayukta has said in a press conference that, they have captured a person from Mangalore, who was allegedly found to possess illegal property worth 1 Crore, 26 lakhs and 14 thousand odd rupees.

The culprit is identified as N T Rajagopal, Engineer, Mangalore Small Irrigation Department.

He was speaking in a press conference with journalists on March 18 and said they have also succeeded to catch ten officials from various parts of Karnataka, including a person from Udupi.

The culprits have fallen into Lokayuktta trap are Parameshwar, Udupi Subregistrar, K Ramarao, Sirsi Circle inspector, Umapathi Shettar, Engineer, Gadag, Vishnuteertha, Subregistrar, Chikkabalapur, Anjan Kumar, EO, Kadoor, Eranna Gowda, FDA, Gulbarga, Cheluvaraju, Hanumanthappa, AE,Davanagere and Jayaram Kattimani, FDA, Yadagiri.
