No Government Facilities for Ex Teacher Mohan Kumar

Mangalore, Nov 6: Is Mohan Kumar entitled to any facilities available to teachers for service rendered? Mohan Kumar has after all served as a teacher for 25 years, from 1984 – 2009, although the service was broken and irregular. 

When the above query was placed before the officers of the education department, they firmly replied that Mohan Kumar will not be entitled to any facilities because of his unauthorized absence from duty for long periods of time and also for his failure to attend the enquiries. Moreover, he is in prison facing several murder raps. 

Since Mohan was dismissed from service, his wife Manjula of Uppala approached the officers of the education department requesting a government job on humanitarian grounds. Sources at the DDPI’s office have revealed that her application for a government job on humanitarian grounds has been rejected.
