New Vinaya Hospital to be launched on Sunday

Mangalore, March 4: Dr. Ravish Thunga said during a press conference that Vinaya Hospital and Research Centre will be completely renovated and launched by the Directors of Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Hospital Pvt Ltd on March 7, Sunday, at 11:00 a.m. Dr. Ravish Thunga is the consultant psychiatrist and director of the new hospital. 

Dr. Thunga also said that, in addition to diagnostic facilities, the hospital offers a wide range of medical services at affordable prices to cater to the requirements of patients. 

The hospital, which is located at a convenient spot in the city, has 65 beds, 10 special deluxe rooms, a general ward, 2 modern operation theatres, a dialysis unit, an intensive care with ventilators, modern ultra sound scanning system, TMT Echo Cardiogram, digital X-ray theatre, high-tech computerized laboratory, and in-house pharmacy. 

Mr. J M Garg, the chairman and managing director of Corporation Bank, will inaugurate the new hospital. Dr. K R Shetty, the senior neurologist, and Dr. K S Shetty, the senior psychiatrist, will be guests of honor. 

Dr. Hansraj Alva, the consultant physician; Devdas Alva, the secretary; and MV Mallya were present at the press conference.
