Mangalore Feb 26: Sagar Ratna, a famous chain of restaurants in North India, will launch its first 3-star hotel in Mangalore in March. This chain of restaurants has 27 outlets on franchise and 24 outlets of its own. 

The Executive Officer of Sagar Ratna Joy Joseph said at the inaugural of a new franchise outlet in Jalandar that the company plans to establish 8 more franchise outlets this year in Rajasthan and Punjab. 

Mr. Joseph revealed that the hotel in Mangalore has already been constructed and that it will be inaugurated soon, adding that the new hotel will have 84 rooms. 

Speaking about the company’s overseas expansion, Joseph said that the company has already launched outlets in Canada, Singapore, and UK and that it would establish outlets in the US and Bangkok too. 

The company, which initially used to serve only South Indian food, has now added Chinese and North Indian food to its menu.
