National conference of inclusion development on March 26 - 27

Mangalore, Mar 24: The Planning Commission of India in collaboration with A J Institute of Management will organize a national conference “Inclusive Development - Strategies and Challenges” on March 26 - 27 in the campus of A J Institute of Management at Kottara Chowki. 

Dr. T Jayaprakash Rao, the director of the institute, informed press people during a press meet held on March 23, Tuesday that the inclusive development is the point of focus of the 11th five year plan of the government. The prime minister calls it the “national goal.” 

Dr. Rao said that around 300 scholars, political figures, officials of the Planning Commission, social workers, industrialists, and academicians will participate in this conference as resource persons, guests, and delegates. 

Mr. Shankar Murthy, the deputy chairman of the State Planning Board, Government of Karnataka, will inaugurate the event. Prof J V Prabhakara Rao, the vice chancellor of the Rayalseemar University of Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh will be the chief guest. Dr. R V P Singh, the additional secretary of the Planning Commission of India, New Delhi, and Mr. H K Patil, former cabinet minister of the government of India will be the guests of honor. Dr. A K Singh, the assistant director of RCUE Studies, University of Lucknow will deliver the keynote address. Mr. A J Shetty, the president of Laxmi Memorial Education Trust and the proprietor of Hotel Moti Mahal will preside over the inauguration ceremony. 

Technical sessions on inclusive development in regional inclusion, social inclusion, educational inclusion, health care and affordability, gender inclusion, different financial strata, senior citizen inclusion, people with deficiency inclusion, and ethnic distinctions will be conducted after the inauguration ceremony.
