National Seminar on Biodiversity held at St Aloysius college

Mangalore, Feb 22: To generate awareness about the importance of biodiversity, the departments of biotechnology, botany and zoology, St. Aloysius College, in association with Pilikula Nisarga Dhama Society, organized a national level seminar on the central theme of ‘Biodiversity: An Endless Exploration’ at IT Hall of St Aloysius College on February 22.

 

 

Prof Dr Madhyastha, former principal of Poornaprajna College, Udupi inaugurated the programme. He said that, man cannot live on without biodiversity. Human beings are integral part of nature and it is obvious that their fate is closely connected with biodiversity- the huge variety of other animals and plants, the places they live and their surrounding environments, all over the world”, he added.

The students from different colleges participated in the programme.
