Meeting to discuss milk prices to be held on Monday

April 4: Chief Minister of Karnataka B S Yeddyurappa said that he will convene a meeting with the chairman and officials of the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) on Monday. The revised prices of milk might come into effect on April 6 or 7. 

Saying that there is a demand to hike milk prices to help farmers, the chief minister said that the price of milk is lower in Karnataka compared to other states. He added that the production of milk is also coming down in Karnataka. 

The CM had previously informed reporters that milk price will be raised from Monday.
