Mangalore, March 1: The Faculty and Students of the MSW Department of St. Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangalore celebrated the International Women’s Day on 28 February 2010 at the Eric Mathias Hall / IT Auditorium.

 

 

 

 

‘International Women’s day bestows the women with a sence of honour, dignity and self respect for being the person that they are said Ms Henita Lobo. LaterRev. Fr Francis D’Almeida, Dean of MSW Department, Ms. Loveena Lobo, HOD - MSW Department, Sr. Elice Mary - NGO Representative, Smt Pathunji - Women Representative, SAC and Vijay Kumar, Student Co-ordinator were present on the dais.

Mrs. Vani Alva, Project Co-ordinator of Ullal Municipality delivered speech on "Empowerment of women.

Finally, the students of MSW presented a Cultural Programme.
