Man swindles Rs. 35 lakh from Indians in Israel

Mangaluru, 23 April 2015:  A case of duping several Indians working abroad and case  was filed in Konaje police station under the Mangalore City Police on April 21, 2015.

A Mangalorean dupes Rs 35 lakh from Indians working in Israel and after returning India he is now started threatening the victims, the police said.

Kanchana Latha d’ souza filed a FIR with the police against one Biswin Montero of Mudipu for cheating her and other Indians for a total amount Rs.35 lakh.  

For the last ten years people from Mangalore and other Indians who work in Israel deposited hard earned money in chit fund scheme run by Biswin in Israel. He had promised them that he will pay the total deposit money after returning to India.

 He returned to Mangalore in the year 2012. Over the last two years he never paid the due amount to the depositors giving them numerous reasons. Now, Biswin has started to abuse and threaten the depositors, police said.
Police registered a case against Biswin and yet to arrest the conman.
