Man dies in Bolero – truck collision

Udupi, Apr 27, 2012 : A middle-aged man died when the Bolero he was driving dashed into an oil-laden truck today.

The truck was moving oil from Udupi to Kundapur and the Bolero was taking fruit from Sholapur to Mangalore.

The deceased is Pandurang Aldar (51) of Sholapur. Gopalakrishna, who was with Panduranga, has sustained injuries and is currently being treated at a private hospital. The truck driver has also been injured.

A crane had to be used to remove the vehicles from the spot.

A case has been registered at the Brahmavar Police Station.
