Mar 02, 2018: The Department of Industrial Chemistry and MSc course in Biochemistry organised a national-level workshop on research ethics and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) on Thursday
at Mangalore University campus.

While Registrar Prof B S Nagendra Prakash inaugurated the workshop, Department Chairperson Prof B K Sarojini presided over the function. The workshop aimed at giving an opportunity to early career researchers and students to articulate and reflect on the ethical concerns faced by seasoned researchers in their respective fields. The workshop provided a platform on understanding about the issues of IPR.

Various distinguished speakers namely, Prof Cletus J M D’Souza, Adjunct Professor, Mangalore University; Dr Narendra Mallya of Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Hyderabad among others spoke.
