Puttur, Nov 19: The Karnataka Konkani Sahithya Academy is going to organize a workshop on Konkani music in the auditorium of Kombettu Junior College from Nov 28 - 29 for the students of higher primary and high school. 

The organizers intend not only to train, but also to inform students about rhythms and nodes in various music forms such as devotional, classical, folk, patriotic, and so on. 

The resource persons will be famous musicians such as M S Kamath of Bangalore, Panduranga Nayak of Puttur, Irene Rebello, and Vasanthi R Nayak.
