J K Rao speaks on industrial relations at Crux 2010

Mangalore, March 3: J K Rao, the vice district governor of Lion’s Club, said that sound industrial relations are essential for the overall development of a country. He was speaking on the topic "Industrial Relations in the Downtrend" at Crux 2010, a seminar organized by the MSW Department of St Aloysius College Mangalore on March 3, Wednesday. 

Speaking about progress, he said that patriotism is strongly associated with progress, adding that industrial progress is essential for a country’s progress. Industrial progress is possible only when there is a harmonious relationship between employees and total cooperation with their employers. Mr. Rao argued that the only way one can achieve the goal of developing and maintaining good employer-employee relationships is through patriotism. 

Fr. Swebert D’Souza, the principal of St Aloysius College, presided over the meeting. Dr. Savitha Periera made the welcome and introductory speech.
