Information department reveals information on Sarojini Naidu Award

Mangalore, May 7, 2012  : The department of information organized a press meet in its office on May 7 Monday to reveal information regarding the Hunger Project’s Sarojini Naidu Award of 2012.

The Sarojini Naidu Award is annually given for the best report on woman and Panchayat Raj in a bid to promote and encourage reporting on women’s issues, especially the political participation of women.

The Hunger Project is committed to supporting and encouraging the media to prominently report success stories of these women leaders.

The reports can be in any Indian language.

Dr. Ronald Anil Fernandes, Rohini, the information officer, Justin, the program associate, and Guruvappa N. T. Balepuni were also present during the press conference.
