Mangalore, March 16: The locals at Kadekar thrashed a person, who has been raping his teenaged daughter repeatedly since a year, and handed over to Malpe police on March 15.

 

In a freak incident, Sheshappa bhandary (41), owner of a hair dressing saloon at Kadekar, repeatedly raped his teenaged daughter.

Sheshappa’s elder daughter, who happens to be a tenth standard student, fell down while attending the class on Monday, due to nausea and giddiness. When she was referred to the doctor, it was found that she was pregnant. The neighbor’s of Bhandary complained that, he was misbehaving with her daughter by touching her body and inducing for sexual act.

It was reported that, Sheshappa threatened his daughter, after rape, not to reveal this with any one.

When the news of unhealthy condition of daughter broke out, locals of Kadekar lost their patience and thrashed him at Kadekar town and handed over to Malpe police for further interrogation.

Superintendent of police, Pravin Madhukar Pawar, and other senior police officers visited Malpe. Investigations are on.
