Elderly two wheeler rider killed

Udupi, Aug 31, 2014, : Police said Dayanand Thingalaya (56), a two-wheeler rider was killed in a road mishap at Muloor near Kaup. Hewas on way to his home when a speeding truck in a bid to overtake the two-wheeler knocked down the rider and ran over him, killing him on the spot. Soon after the mishap, the truck driver fled the spot.Thingalaya is survived by his mother, wife and two daughters. Kaup police have registered a case.
