Elderly man killed, as speeding vehicle hits.

Mangaluru, July 27 2018: An elderly man was killed by  speeding truck hit on NH 66 at Baikampady here on July 25, Wednesday.

The deceased is identified as Hameed(70)resident of Kavoor. It has been reported that Hameed was on his way to Kulur from Suratkal. A speeding truck hit his bike. He sustained serious injuries was taken to a hospital immediately but was declared brought dead.

Truck driver has been taken into custody.  Mangaluru North traffic police have registered a case.
