Chanting anti-government slogans, they conducted protest in a different style by cooking and eating beef in public.

AK Subbayya said that the BJP led state government’s move to ban cow slaughter is a part of its anti-farmer policy. He suggested that, by encouraging beef eating and its export, we can reduce the number of suicide cases by the farmers.

We eat beef. We decide whether to continue eating beef or not. Who are they (government) to decide, he questioned.
