Mangaluru, Sep 05, 2015:  Young students of  Government Higher Primary School Mannagudda, say  it’s hard to undertake cleaning activity in the locality as sought by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his interaction with students on Sept 4, Friday.

After seeing the nearly two-hour long telecast of the Prime Minister’s interaction with schoolchildren. students found Prime Minister’s reference to Swachh Bharat Abhiyan inspiring.

These students say they  will follow  PM  Modi’s simple steps of contributing to the nation.  We will make it a point to switch off lights in the house and in classroom when it’s not of use.  Prime Minister’s words of not wasting food they are doing it for the last few years.   We are  involved in keeping our school clean 

 Hundred odd students of the school who heard the nearly two-hour long telecast of  PM  Modi’s interaction with students held on the eve of Teachers Day. While around 70 students saw the telecast of the television fixed in a hall of Mangaluru North Education Block Resource Centre, around 30 students heard it on the radio.   This government school in Mannagudde was among the many schools in city that had made arrangements for students to view the programme.

The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Mudipu arranged to screen the programme not only for their 440 students but also 150 students from five schools in the area.
