Mangalore Today News Network

Mangalore, June 17:  A few citizens have planned a hunger strike in front of the DC’s office on Wednesday in protest against the forcible eviction of Mr. Gregory Patrao from his ancestral property for the III phase of the MRPL expansion project.

According to a press release, the protestors will demand the unconditional release of the seized property of Gregory Patrao either at his premises or any other place desired by him in view of the monsoons and at the expense of those who illegally acquired his valuables and good.

The protestors will also demand that Gregory Patrao and family will be allowed to reside undisturbed on his agricultural land until all constitutional remedies and legal options available to him are explored.
