Changes in train timings on Konkan route

Mangalore, June 10:  Monsoon timetable for trains running via Konkan route will come in to effect from June 15 and be in force up to October 31. The timings of following trains will be changed in view of the monsoon timetable, a Southern Railway press release here on Wednesday stated.

Train 2617 Ernakulam __ Nizamuddin Mangla express will leave Ernakulam Junction at 10.45 am instead of 1.05 pm. The departure timings of train 2617 at main stations are as follow: Shornur (1.05 pm), Calicut (3.05 pm), Kannur (4.55 pm) and Mangalore junction (7.45 pm).

Train 2620 Mangalore Central __Lokmanya Tilak Matsyagandha Express will leave Mangalore Central at 12.50 pm instead of 2.40 pm. Trains 6337/6338 Okha - Ernakulam expresses will be partially cancelled between Hapa and Okha.

The departure timings of the following trains are changed and now will leave at 5.10 am from Mangalore Junction. These trains are 6312 Trivandrum-Bikaner weekly express, 6336 Nagercoil__ Gandhidham weekly express, 6338 Ernankulam __Okha bi-weekly express, 2977 Ernakulam__Ajmer Marusagar weekly express. Train KR-2, Mangalore Central Verna Passenger will start at 6.20 am, that is five minutes early.

There will be no other changes in the monsoon timings given in the railway timetable.
