CIL Fest 2010 organized at Chinmaya School

Mangalore, Jan 30: The Center for Integrated Learning (CIL) and Chinmaya School jointly organized a 2-day inter-school event CIL Fest 2010 at Chinmaya School on Jan 30, Saturday. A variety of competitions were conducted as part of the festival. 

Retired Wing Commander Dev Rao Belle inaugurated the event by unveiling the CIL Fest 2010 poster. The representatives of the participating schools painted a letter each on the poster. 

In his inaugural speech, Dev Rao Belle said that basic education can be easily obtained in the classrooms; but the hidden talents of the students can be brought to light only through an extra curricular activities such as CIL . 

Sachitha Nandagopal, the executive director of the Center for Integrated Learning, and Pramod Kini, the principal of Chinmaya High School, presided over the programme.
