Brahmavar students win national-level rural IT quiz

Udupi, Nov 24, 2015: According to a press release , Geeve and Karthik Rao, students from Little Rock Indian School (LRIS) at Brahmavar in Udupi district, emerged as winners of the national-level Rural IT Quiz 2015. Tmthe team from LRIS defeated the team of Dakshak Nagrale and Anand Baidmohata from Yeshwant Mahavidyalaya, Maharashtra, by a margin of 15 points in the quiz programme held in Bengaluru on November 17.

The winners bagged an educational scholarship of Rs. 1 lakh, while the runners-up team received Rs. 50,000 along with trophies. There was a celebration in this regard.
