Beary Samskrutika Sambhrama, cultural Dec 26

Dec 25, 2017: The Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy has organised Beary Samskrutika Sambhrama, programmes featuring the rich cultural heritage of Beary speaking people, in Mangaluru on  Dec 26, Tuesday.

Academy chairman Karambaru Mohammed told media that over one thousand Beary-speaking people from Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Chikkamagaluru, Kodagu and Mysuru, are expected to attend the programme. The day will start with Beary literature and music programmes by Ibrahim Batisha and troupe at 10 a.m. at the Town Hall. District in-charge Minister B. Ramanath Rai will inaugurate the formal programme at 11 a.m. Ministers U.T. Khader, Umashree, R. Roshan Baig and former Minister B.A. Mohideen will attend. The afternoon will see cultural and folk programmes of Beary language.
