Mangalore Today News Network

Mangalore, Dec 25: The audio-visual facility at AIMIT, St Aloysius College, Beeri, was inaugurated by Max Rasquinha and Deepak Menon.

Fr. Denzil Lobo blessed the audio-visual room and dedicated it to his parents, the late Leticia and Joseph Lobo, in whose honor it was constructed. The facility includes a large collection of CDs and VCDs on a wide range of developmental topics.

Max Rasquinha, an old student of St Aloysius College, is currently residing in Houston, USA. He has always been an ardent supporter of AIMIT. He provided the funds required for the construction of the audio-visual room. Max Rasquinha also provided a number of beautiful paintings to adorn the Administrative and the Academic Blocks as well as the food court. Owing to these paintings, the academic block resembles an art gallery and has already attracted a number of visitors.

The family members of Max Rasquinha and Fr Denzil were present during the inauguration programme.
