Mangaluru: Aradhana Charitable Trust will organise ‘Aradhana Sambhrama 2019’ cultural programmes at T V Raman Pai Convention Hall on March 17 (from 2.30 pm to 9.30 pm).
Trust chairperson Aruna Bhat told media at Patrika Bhavan on March 11, Monday that the programme will be presided over by Dharmadarshi Harikrishna Punaroor while Alva’s Education Foundation chairman Dr M Mohan Alva will inaugurate it.
KPSC former chairman Dr T Shyam Bhat will hand Yaksharadhaki Smt Sharadamma Mogasale commemoration awards to Puttur Narasimha Nayak (music), Narayana Murthy Anandapura (medicine), Dr Na Mogasale (literature), Shanta Mallesh Rao (woman achiever), Jeevanram Summia (theatre), Ishwar Bhat Kanyana (social work), Balakrishna Vaidya (folk), Sumangala Ratnakar (Yakshagana), Hajabba Harekala (education) and Shivashankar Bhat (religious).
Cultural programmes will be held from 2.30 pm. ‘Anubhava Natya’, a classical dance based on Kannada music will be performed by Namita Desai from Bengaluru. Manuj Nehiga will perform Dasha Kala Kaushala, Ajay Warrior and team will present ‘Raga Jugalbandi’, Aruna Bhat added.
