AIMIT organizes 3-day B-school meet

Mangalore, March 15: Verve 2010, a national-level business schools meet, will be organized by the Institution of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT), St Aloysius College’s new campus for MBA and IT programmes at Beeri in Kotekar on March 18 – 20, 2010 in the auditorium of AIMIT, said Director of AIMIT Fr Denzil Lobo during a press conference on March 15, Monday. 


Chairman and Managing Director of Vijaya Bank Mr. Albert Tauro will inaugurate Verve 2010; and Rector of St Aloysius Institutions Mangalore Fr Joseph Rodrigues will preside over the programme. 


Various competitions such as Pulse, an HR event; Alacrity, a business quiz; Fuel, a finance event; Four Stroke, a strategy development event; Nerve, a marketing event; Valor, the Best CEO event; and Wild Card, a bidding event, will be held as part of Verve 2010. 


 The creation of leaders well equipped with managerial skills from diverse learning experiences and the placing of AIMIT in the list of 10 best business schools in India is the purpose of organizing this programme, informed Fr. Denzil Lobo.



Retired Regional Advisor of United Nations WHO Dr Derek Lobo will be chief guest of the valedictory programme. The chief sponsor of this event is Toshiba. 


Fr Denzil Lobo said that he expects at least 30 business schools from all over the country to participate in this event.
