3-day GSB Yuva Sammelana will commence on Jan 18

Mangalore, Jan 15: The GSB Yuva Sammelan, a 3-day event, will commence on Jan 18, Monday, in Shri Dwarakanath Bhavana Sabhagraha of Gokarna Mutt, Car Street, Mangalore. 

Prashant Deshpande, the social worker and trustee of the VRDM Trust and D-Rudsetti, Haliyal, North Kanara, will inaugurate the programme. Dr. Dayananda Pai, a leading philanthropist of Bangalore; MLA N Yogish Bhat, Muralidhar Prabhu, the industrialist and social thinker; Dr. Bhujang Pai, the eminent doctor and social worker of Mumbai; K.Nagesh Pai, the young innovator and founder of
www.radioidli.com; and Shrikar Prabhu, the young promising social worker will be the chief guests of the inaugural function.  

On Jan 18, the programme will commence with an inauguration, which will be held at 10 a.m. A GSB youth icon will be the chief guest; and a prominent personality will deliver the key-note address. An ice-breaking session will follow. A nationally acclaimed trainer will motivate the delegates and prepare them to effectively participate in the convention. 

Jan 19 will comprise two sessions. The first session will be a discussion on the topic “Is Entrepreneurship Dying among GSBs?” The second session will be a discussion on the topic “Are GSB Marriages Failing?” 

Jan 20 will comprise 3 sessions. The first session will be a panel discussion on the topic “Is GSB Samaj on the Brink of Cultural Bankruptcy?” A number of papers on various burning issues will be presented during the second session. The third session will be the valedictory ceremony, during which 3 young achievers will be felicitated.
