2 missing orphanage kids found dead in abandoned car

Mangalore Today News Network

Kasargod, Nov 30, 2015 : Two children, aged seven and four who had  disappeared from an orphanage at Padannakad on November  28, Saturday evening were found dead in an abandoned car the  same night  a little distance away from the orphanage.

The deceased children are Jerin (5), son of Joshi  and Abhishek (7), son of Babu from Ravaneshwara Mukkod. The children who were residing at Snehalaya Orphanage at Padannakad  were found dead in  the car bearing Tamil Nadu registration number. In fact the car  was seen parked in the area since some days.

Though the exact reason behind the death of the children is not known, the suspicion is that the kids who might have got into the abandoned car,  died of suffocation after they could not open its doors to get out of the vehicle.

Hosadurga police are investigating the case.
