‘Women’s Day’ to be celebrated at town hall on March 8

Mangalore, March 4: Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat, Department of Women and Child Welfare, Federation of District Mahila Mandals, District Legal Aid Authority, Karnataka State Women’s Commission will organize world women’s day function at Town Hall on March 8 at 10.30 am.

The function would be inaugurated by the minister for Environment, Ports and inland water transport, Krishna J Palemar.  Mr. N. Yogish Bhat, MLA, will preside. Mr. Santhosh Kumar Bhandary, President, Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat, will inaugurate the exhibition.  Mr. Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP, will be the chief guest.

On the occasion, a book by Dr. Rathidevi, Professor, Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, Ms. Rajashri Hegde, Chairperson, Health and Education Standing Committee, Mangalore, will be released.
