Mangalore, July 28: A Cement-laden goods train derailed at Pandeshwar Mangalore on Wednesday July 28 at 5.30 am. No one was injured in the incident.




Three coaches of the train which was heading towards Mangalore port from Tamil Nadu derailed near Pandeshwar, subsequently damaging the tracks. In the incident one of the coaches went off the track on the bridge. The track has been severely damaged at the spot.
Railway police investigating the case said that ’We are yet to ascertain any specific reason behind the derailment’.
