Mangaluru, Aug 17, 2018: Panambur police have arrested a youth of Assam origin in connection with the case of thefts reported from two shops near Kudumbur close by the Baikampady Industrial area. The accused has been identified as Parul Hussain (19) of Assam Lakkipur.
Hussain has been accused of breaking into the Pooja mobile shop and a grocery store in the area and stealing mobile phones, CCTV, DVR and other valuables. He worked as a mechanic in a local garage.
Police have seized 2 mobile phones, a blue tooth and a bike, all worth Rs 64,300.
Police are on the lookout for three to four others who are wanted in the case.

Most of the theft cases are connected with the youths from northern states. They leave their home in search of job and land in such things. |
