Mangaluru: Cops arrest 4 cattle traffickers near Talapady

Mangaluru, July 23, 2019: Ullal Police have arrested four persons on the charges of cattle smuggling near the Talapady toll gate on July 22, Monday.

As many as ten buffaloes were rescued and the Eicher truck in which the animals were being trafficked  has also been seized.

 Those arrested are Roopey Mardi hailing from Assam, Dasharath, John and Sumith. Investigations revealed that the buffaloes were given by a man named Sebastian from Nelyadi. The rescued animals have been sent to the Go  Vanitashram Trust  at Pajeer.
