District Congress stages huge protest against Rafale scam

Mangaluru, Sep 11, 2018: The District Congress Committee staged a  huge protest in front of the DC office here on September 11, Tuesday   over the Rafale deal. The Congress alleged that the Narendra Modi led BJP government at the Centre was looting the nation  on the pretext of the Rs 45,000 crore Rafale  deal.

Prior to the protest meet, a rally was taken out from  Ambedkar Circle upto the DC office.

District Congress President Harish Kumar,  former minister B Ramanatha Rai, Mayor Bhasker Moily, former mayors Shashidhar Hegde, Kavitha Sanil, former MLAs JR Lobo, Moidin Bava, several leaders including Mamatha Gatti, Suresh Ballal, Ibrahim Kodijal and others participated in the protest.
