Mangaluru, Feb 28, 2024: Several BJP Yuva Morcha workers were detained by the police after they tried to picket the Congress Office at Mallikatte in the city on Wednesday.

The protest was staged in the backdrop of the allegation that the supporters of Dr Sayyed Nasir Hussain, the victorious Congress candidate in the Rajya Sabha election, had shouted slogans in favour of Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Congress workers too gathered at the spot and shouted slogans against the BJP. The police later ensured the situation came under control.
