Yuva Janata Dal demands arrest of stone pelters on IT office

Mangaluru, August 3, 2017: The District unit of the Yuva Janata Dal has urged the  authorities to arrest the Youth Congress leaders who were responsible for stoning of the Income Tax office in Mangaluru during  the  protest against the IT raids on State Energy Minister DK Shivakumar. A delegation of the Yuva Janata Dal led by District unit chief Akshit Suvarna met Deputy Commissioner K G Jagadeesha and submitted a memorandum to him in this regard.

"Stoning of the  IT office is an indecent and uncivilised behaviour. Such sort of goondaism should end. The stone pelters who are seen in the act in videos aired by the media should be identified and arrested,"  the memorandum said.

The memorandum has also warned of severe protest by the Yuva Janata Dal if  measures were not taken to fulfill the demands.
