Youth returning from mosque after Friday prayers stabbed at Kalladka

Bantwal, May 26,2017 : A youth who was returning home  from a mosque after offering  Friday prayers was stabbed  by a gang which  arrived by a car in Kalladka town on the afternoon of May 26. The incident has sparked tension  in the town.

The injured youth has been identified as Mohammad Hashir, a resident of Kalladka and son of Yusuf.  It is alleged that Mithun of Kalladka and his gang was behind the attack.

 The gang had fled soon after the attack. The injured youth has been admitted to a private hospital in Thumbay.

The accused Mithun and his associates who were arrested some time back in connection with the case of murder attempt and dacoity of Harish Gowda of Sajipamunnur were out on bail recently.

People have gathered in large numbers in the town creating a tense atmosphere.
